This division provides budgeting, planning, design and construction management services for city projects that build or rebuild the City’s infrastructure and support the redevelopment of the City of Camden. The Projects undertaken by this division include, but are not limited to, street improvements to street, sidewalk, park & trailways, water and sewer systems utilities, water treatment plant; and traffic signalization.

PUBLIC NOTICE
North 9th Street changes to one-way on October 3, 2026
North 9th Street between Erie Street and State Street, will change to a one-way, with southbound vehicular traffic only, on or about October 3, 2026. The current traffic configuration restricts the ability to safely accommodate opposing two-way travel. The change is warranted based on various geometric constraints, safety considerations, on-street parking demands, and operational needs. The one-way conversion fully aligns with modern standard traffic engineering principles. A Variable Message Sign (VMS) will be positioned at this location to notify drivers of the change. This digital information board will remain in place as needed to redirect drivers as an added precaution.
